Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a mid-level Structural Designer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering complex industrial facilities, including semiconductor and data centre projects. You will produce 3D models with Revit and Navisworks, perform clash detection, and coordinate with mechanical, civil, architectural and process disciplines to develop designs.

The ideal candidate has a National Certificate/Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering and at least 5 years of draughting experience, with

Qualifications

National Certificate, Diploma or Ordinary Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (FETAC Level 6/7 minimum).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Structural Engineering draughting and modelling.
Good knowledge of Irish Standards, Eurocode, and International Codes; US/India codes are a bonus.

Responsibilities

Production and editing of 3D models using Revit and Navisworks Simulate.
Clash Detection within complex models across multiple disciplines.
Manage scope, budget and schedule to meet project goals.
Coordinate with mechanical, civil, architectural and process disciplines to develop designs.
Lead plant design activities as an area/system leader and coordinate with multi-disciplinary designers.
