Job summary

Jacobs in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled Structural Designer to join our multi-discipline team. You will produce and edit 3D models using Revit and Navisworks, conduct clash detection, and coordinate with mechanical, civil and architectural disciplines across industrial projects.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience and a Civil/Structural Engineering qualification are required. Flexible/ hybrid working available.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Structural Engineering draughting and modelling.
Knowledge of Irish Standards, Eurocode and International Codes is a plus.
Experience with 3D modelling software (Revit/CAD) required.

Responsibilities

Production and editing of 3D models using Revit and Navisworks Simulate
Clash Detection within complex models across multiple disciplines
Manage scope, budget and schedule to meet project goals.
Coordinate with mechanical, civil, architectural and process disciplines to develop designs.
Lead plant design activities as an area/system leader or sub-leader.
Ensure compliance with detailing standards for structures in steel, concrete and masonry.
Review construction submittals and update 3D models and drawings as required.
