Hunter Selection is recruiting a Structural Design Engineer for a Worcester-based role. You will design both parts and full systems for renewable energy projects, leading R&D activities and performing FEAs to ensure robustness.

You will create BOMs, support sales with quotations, and drive product improvements to stay ahead of the competition. A mechanical engineering degree is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural design.
• FEA/stress analysis experience.
• Knowledge of renewable sector beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Designs both parts and full systems for renewables projects.
• Leads R&D projects within the design team.
• Performs FEA stress testing on components and assemblies.
• Creates BOMs and supports sales with timely quotations.
• Modifies existing products to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
