You will work within a design team on diverse projects, contributing to new product development and ensuring designs meet performance and cost targets. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design projects in the renewables sector as part of the design team.
• Lead on R&D projects.

• Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) for projects.
• Collaborate with sales to prepare timely quotations and presentations for customers.
• Modify existing products to maintain efficiency and competitiveness.

Are you a Structural Design Engineer looking to make a real impact in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector? The Role

• Working in the design team on a range of Design projects, the company designs systems for the renewables sector.
• Taking a lead on R&D projects.
• Designing both parts and full systems.
• FEA - stress testing.
• Creating BOMs.
• Working closely with the sales team, enabling quotations to be available in a timely manner and presented to customers.
• Modifying existing products across the range, to ensure efficiency is maintained and they stay ahead of the competition.

What we are looking for

• Experience with Solidworks or Inventor - as well as AutoCAD 2d.
• Experience within Structural Design.
• Experience in the Solar/Renewables sector - desirable.
• Degree educated in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
