Are you a Structural Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? I have the perfect opportunity available for a Structural Engineer with circa 2 - 4 years of experience in Birmingham.

My Client's Birmingham Office is ideally located for easy commuting in and out of Birmingham. They have an enthusiastic and friendly team, undertaking structural design work on a broad range of both Midlands-based and UK schemes which ranges from new aspiring award-winning retail developments and major refurbishment and repurposing residential and commercial opportunities to advanced manufacturing and industrial units and education developments as well as large complex projects in the healthcare, residential, or commercial sectors. As an integral member of this diverse team, you will have the opportunity to play a major role in delivering schemes across a huge range of sectors whilst really pushing forward with your career!

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants some rare hands-on building structures design training on a day-to-day basis. Their Senior Management Team are keen to take on a willing and aspiring Structural Design Engineer to help progress them to Senior level. As an Employer, they have excellent routes to professional Chartership and can provide a varied 360 workload to experience all that structural engineering has to offer.

Although they are able to consider applicants with slightly more or less experience, you will ideally have qualifications, experience, or skills in the following areas:

1. A relevant civil or structural engineering degree
2. Experience in the production of calculations and specifications
3. Technical reviews of drawings and junior members' designs
4. Preparation of tender and contract documents
5. Attendance at coordination, design team, and site meetings
6. Knowledge of software including Robot, Masterseries, Etabs, Tedds, CSC Fastrac Building Designer
