North London | Hybrid Working Available
I'm currently working with a well-established structural engineering practice in North London that is looking to bring an experienced Senior Structural CAD Technician into its small and growing team.
This is a great opportunity for a technician who enjoys being heavily involved in the technical delivery of projects and wants to work within a close-knit consultancy where your experience will genuinely be valued.
The position is predominantly CAD-based, with around 95% of your workload being AutoCAD. Revit experience is not essential, making this a particularly good opportunity for an experienced CAD technician who has perhaps been put off roles that place too much emphasis on BIM.
You'll work closely with the engineers and wider design team, producing detailed structural drawings across a varied portfolio of projects.
The projects vary in size and complexity, so there is plenty of opportunity to use your technical knowledge rather than simply producing repetitive drawings.
We're looking for someone with solid experience as a Structural CAD Technician, ideally within a UK structural engineering consultancy.
Revit is not essential - the priority is finding someone who is genuinely strong technically in AutoCAD.
You'll be joining a small, established structural engineering team, giving you the opportunity to work closely with senior engineers and have a genuine influence on project delivery.
The company offers a friendly, collaborative environment, varied project exposure and hybrid working, providing a good balance between flexibility and being part of the team.
If you're an experienced Structural CAD Technician looking for a role where AutoCAD remains the primary tool, rather than being expected to become a full-time Revit technician, this could be an excellent fit
