We’re currently working with an award-winning structural and civil engineering consultancy based in Central London that is looking to appoint a confident and motivated Project Structural Technician to join its growing Revit team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Structural Technician with around 3-6 years’ experience to join a specialist consultancy where you can have a genuine impact on projects and the wider business, rather than becoming another cog in a large organisation.
The consultancy has a particularly strong reputation for retrofit, refurbishment and complex cut-and-carve projects, working on technically challenging schemes involving existing buildings and structural alterations. They do undertake some new-build work, but retrofit and refurbishment experience is essential for this position.
You’ll work closely with structural engineers, architects and the wider project team, taking responsibility for producing high-quality structural drawings and BIM models across a range of interesting projects.
As a Project Structural Technician, you will take ownership of your technical workload and play an important role within the BIM team.
This is a role where you will be given ownership and responsibility, with the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge and progress your career within a growing specialist consultancy.
A portfolio demonstrating your previous technical work will be required as part of the recruitment process.
You’ll be joining a relatively small and highly sociable consultancy of around 20 people, with a dedicated BIM team and a collaborative working environment.
The business offers something quite different from the larger engineering consultancies. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with senior members of the team, get involved in interesting and technically challenging projects, and see the impact of your work directly.
The company has a young, friendly and sociable culture, with a strong team dynamic and a modern Central London office close to Liverpool Street.
If you’re a Structural Technician with strong Revit experience and a background in retrofit, refurbishment or cut-and-carve projects, this could be an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career.
