Job summary

Prp Uk Limited is seeking an experienced CAD technician to produce accurate technical drawings across commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare and education sectors. You will work on projects up to £50 million in value and contribute to a growing portfolio.

The role requires AutoCAD proficiency, with Revit being advantageous, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A suitable qualification such as an HNC in building studies is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Produce drawings for building structures in steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
• HNC in building studies or equivalent is advantageous but not essential.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the built environment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD software; Revit experience is a plus.
• Able to produce and revise accurate drawings from design briefs and mark-ups.
• Experience detailing reinforced concrete is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate technical drawings on projects across commercial, residential, industrial, health care and education sectors up to £50 million.
• Detail reinforced concrete drawings where required and coordinate with design teams.
• Work independently with minimal supervision to meet project briefs.

• Produce accurate technical drawings on a variety of projects within the commercial, residential, industrial, health care and education sectors on projects up to £50 million in value

Key Attributes and Skills

• Produce drawings for building structures in all structural materials including steel, concrete, masonry and timber as well as sub structure
• Have a suitable qualification such as a HNC in building studies or equivalent (advantageous but not essential)
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the built environment
• Proficient in AutoCAD software
• Experience in Revit (advantageous but not essential)
• Ability to produce and revise accurate technical drawing from design briefs and mark-ups
• Experience in detailing reinforced concrete (advantageous but not essential)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
