Job summary

University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust in Plymouth seeks consultants to expand a 24/7 thrombectomy service as part of its regional Neuroscience centre. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, with options for either a full-time stroke-only plan or a shared job plan with other departments including neurology and rehabilitation medicine.

Qualifications

• Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via: CCT, CESR or European rights.
• Completion of stroke specialist training.
• Experience and interest in stroke rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Join consultant body to expand current provision of stroke services in the regional Neuroscience centre.
• Participate in training and education of medical students, resident staff, nursing staff and allied health professionals.
• Engage in research, governance and multi-disciplinary team activities.
