Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Locum Consultant Neuro Interventional Radiologist for a 6-month fixed term contract. Based in the Neuro Radiology Department, the role covers Royal Preston Hospital and Chorley District General Hospital, with opportunities to contribute to the regional neurosciences centre.

You will work with an experienced team of neuroradiologists, participate in MDTs, and support the development of the thrombectomy service, including on-call

Qualifications

• Experience in neuroradiology reporting and interventional radiology.
• Active involvement in MDTs and teaching of SPRs.
• Familiarity with head and neck imaging and advanced neuroimaging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Support comprehensive Neuroradiology service alongside 6 neuroradiologists.
• Participate in planning, development and delivery of neuro radiology services.
• Support stroke thrombectomy service expansion and MDTs.
