East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to work on the stroke pathway across acute, rehabilitation and community settings. The role focuses on leadership in SLT projects, dysphagia assessment, and clinical care within an integrated stroke pathway.

Qualifications

• Qualified and HCPC registered SLT.
• Lead relevant projects for the SLT service.
• Promote understanding of clinical disorders and speech and language therapy services.
• Undertake instrumental and objective dysphagia assessment to level of competence within the VFL and FEES workforce structure.

Responsabilités

• Adults with acquired disorders of communication and swallowing, predominantly in community and hospital settings.
• To lead relevant projects for the SLT service.
• To promote an understanding of clinical disorders and speech and language therapy services.
