Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Sutton-in-Ashfield is recruiting a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (NHS AfC Band 6) for a full-time, permanent post. The role sits with the Stroke Team, covering both the Acute Stroke Unit at King’s Mill Hospital and the Stroke Rehabilitation Ward at Mansfield Community Hospital.

Qualifications

• Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification.
• Health Professions Council – Licence to Practice.
• Registered member of RCSLT.
• Evidence of successful completion of short courses related to client group.

Responsibilities

• Join Stroke Team working on the Acute Stroke Unit and Stroke Rehabilitation Ward.
• Work weekends on a rota, as the service operates on weekends.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of SLT services within the trust.
