Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6) to join the Stroke Team at King’s Mill Hospital and Mansfield Community Hospital on a permanent, full-time basis. The role is 37.5 hours per week and involves rotation across acute and rehabilitation settings.

Qualifications

• Recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree qualification.
• Health Professions Council – Licence to Practice.
• Registered member of RCSLT.
• Evidence of completion of short courses related to client group.

Responsibilities

• Join Stroke Team on Acute Stroke Unit and Stroke Rehabilitation Ward.
• Work weekends on a rota.
• Contribute to service development and training.
• Maintain high standards of clinical governance and record keeping.
