Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust (GHC) in Cheltenham is seeking a Stroke Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6) for 22.5 hours per week on a permanent basis. You will deliver specialist SLT services to stroke patients in the community, working within the Stroke ESD Team across Gloucestershire.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy from RCST
• Registered with HCPC and member of RCSLT
• Post-graduate dysphagia training is desirable
• Experience in stroke rehabilitation and community settings

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist SLT assessment, diagnosis and treatment to stroke patients at home/in community settings
• Work as a key member of the multidisciplinary team for holistic management
• Support Band 7 SLT and Team Leads in service development and quality initiatives
• Support adherence to national/local standards for stroke and rehabilitation
• Provide professional support and supervision to rehabilitation assistants and students
