Job summary

Hywel Dda University Health Board in Aberystwyth is recruiting a Physiotherapist to join the stroke rehabilitation team at Bronglais General Hospital on a fixed term/secondment until 01 October 2027. The role is Band 3, full- or part-time, 37.5 hours per week, pro rata salary £26,813–£27,890 per annum.

You will assess and treat stroke patients, work with the MDT, support administrative tasks, and contribute to a flexible 7-day service.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy to GCSE level or equivalent required.
• NVQ 3 / level 3 learning or equivalent.
• ECDL (Europe Computer Driving Licence) required.
• Professional, technical or academic qualification relating to clinical practice with 60 credits at level 3.

Responsibilities

• Undertake assessment and treatment programmes for stroke patients.
• Work with the physiotherapy team and MDT to deliver holistic care and administrative tasks.
• Participate in a flexible 7-day service based on service need.
• Support bilingual service with Welsh language considerations; Welsh language ability is desirable.

Education

NVQ 3 / level 3 learning or equivalent

ECDL

Professional/clinical qualification with 60 credits level 3
