Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Generic Rehabilitation Technician to support stroke rehabilitation in the community. The role involves visiting patients in their homes across Cornwall to deliver rehabilitation as directed by the multidisciplinary team.

You will work with occupational therapists, physiotherapists and speech and language therapists, travelling around the county to provide patient-centred care and support self-management for stroke survivors.

Responsibilities

• Visiting patients in their home to provide rehabilitation and therapy as directed by the registered occupational therapist, physiotherapist and speech and language therapist within the team.
• Travel around the geographical area to visit patients and deliver rehabilitation, often in areas not easily accessible by public transport.
• Support stroke patients to regain independence and promote self-management as part of a patient-centred care plan.
