About British Cycling

British Cycling exists to bring the joy of cycling to everyone. We have embarked on an exciting journey, modernising our commercial and events offerings, focusing on social impact and storytelling. Our athlete performances on the world stage and our major events highlight our efforts.

Our strategy revolves around three priorities: supporting and growing the sport to make cycling more inclusive and accessible; leading on the world stage by winning and winning well; and driving social impact by tackling inequalities through providing opportunities.

What will you be doing?

This role is within the Great Britain Cycling Team (GBCT), our country's most successful Olympic and Paralympic team. Following recent successes at the Paris Games, with 11 Olympic and 22 Paralympic medals, and celebrating 20 years of the GBCT pathway, we aim to continue this legacy towards LA 2028 and beyond.

  • Curious - Eager to learn how athletes are developed worldwide and to stay ahead through innovative S&C practices. Open to learning from other sports, coaches, and environments. Welcomes challenge and debate.
  • Passionate - Deeply interested in training and the factors influencing adaptation. Well-versed in key literature and research, with ideas for applying research in real-world settings. Thinks about training daily.
  • A rapport builder - Builds positive, trusting relationships. Proactive and optimistic in strengthening connections, even with challenging personalities. Persistent and resilient.
  • Reliable - Dependable and consistent. Manages expectations effectively, ensuring commitments are fulfilled to the highest standards.
  • Conscientious - Attentive to detail and committed to maintaining world-class standards. Seeks and provides constructive feedback.
  • Team player - Willing to collaborate closely with colleagues and support team efforts.
