Join our team at ActiveHud as a Strength and Conditioning Coach! We are seeking a passionate individual dedicated to helping others achieve their fitness and performance goals. You will be part of a successful multidisciplinary team focused on delivering sporting performance programs at the University of Huddersfield.
Your responsibilities include coordinating and delivering a comprehensive annual Strength and Conditioning plan tailored to individual athletes and teams using our high-quality sport and fitness facilities.
As a Strength & Conditioning Coach, you will implement programs for the University's sports performance athletes, Students' Union teams, and external organizations to enhance their performance. Collaboration within a multidisciplinary Performance Sport team and with key stakeholders will be essential to successfully engage athletes in various support services.
Qualifications include a degree or equivalent experience in Strength & Conditioning, Health & Fitness, or a related field. You should have strong knowledge of support services accessed by performance athletes and experience working across disciplines. Excellent self-management skills, including reflection, autonomy, time management, and initiative, are required.
This position is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. Regular status checks may also be necessary.
