Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to work on busy road-works projects around Leatherhead. You will join direct labour and sub-contract teams, set up temporary traffic controls, and manage traffic flow to keep sites safe and on schedule.

Ideal candidates hold Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications, can pass Drugs & Alcohol checks, have right to work in the UK, and possess a Full UK Driving Licence (no more than six points).

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check
• Right to Work in UK
• Full UK Driving licence (with no more than 6 points)

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales
• Setting up traffic lights
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects
