Job summary

Dudley Council is seeking an experienced Streetworks Officer to join the Network Management and Co-ordination Team. The role supports delivery of council responsibilities by inspecting works in the public highway for compliance with NRSWA, TMA, Highways Act, and permit schemes.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of traffic management systems, hold or be willing to obtain NRSWA Supervisors Accreditation, have experience with customers and partners, and hold a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of traffic management systems and highways legislation.
• NRSWA Supervisors Accreditation or willingness to obtain.
• Experience working with customers, clients and partners.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake inspections to ensure that all works and licenced activities in the public highway comply with NRSWA, TMA, Highways Act and the Authority's Permit Scheme.
• Provide guidance and liaison with customers, clients and partners to ensure compliance and smooth operation.
