Dudley Council is seeking an experienced Streetworks Officer to join the Network Management and Co-ordination Team. The role supports delivery of council responsibilities by inspecting works in the public highway for compliance with NRSWA, TMA, Highways Act, and permit schemes.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of traffic management systems, hold or be willing to obtain NRSWA Supervisors Accreditation, have experience with customers and partners, and hold a full driving licence.
14.8 hours per week (Thursdays and Fridays)
Salary £36,581 to £39,481 (Pro Rata)
We are looking for an experienced Streetworks Officer to join our Network Management and Co-ordination Team.
As Streetworks Officer you will support the delivery of the Council’s responsibilities and functions of the Network Management and Co-ordination Team by undertaking inspections to ensure that all work and licenced activities carried out in the public highway are undertaken in compliance with the New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA), the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA), the Highways Act (1980), alongside the Authority’s Permit Scheme, and any national guidance and Codes of Practice.
