Enerveo Ireland Ltd is recruiting a Highways Lighting Operative to inspect, maintain and repair street lighting and highway electrical assets in the Newcastle/North Tyneside area. You will handle equipment changes, tests and repairs, aiming to keep roads safe and well-lit.

The role requires working at heights, using a MEWP, and holding a UK driving licence. A permanent full-time contract with a structured bonus scheme and comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical/construction industry.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Comfortable with working at heights and MEWP operation.
• Able to use a hand-held tablet to receive jobs and log repair reports.
• Able to dig and install streetlighting columns.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, maintain, and repair highway lighting systems such as streetlights and traffic signs.
• Change, paint and test equipment to prevent future issues.
• Fix faulty equipment quickly to ensure safe and efficient lighting infrastructure.
• Work to strict safety guidelines and regulations.
