Job summary

Ubico is looking for reliable, enthusiastic people to join our Street Cleansing team in Gloucester. This is a hands-on, outdoors role that suits people who enjoy physical work, variety, and being part of a supportive team.

The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract with four fixed shifts from Monday to Friday, finishing no later than 6pm. Duties include street cleaning across the Gloucester boundary and driving vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes, plus daily vehicle safety checks in all weather.

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round.
• Happy to work both alone and as part of a team.

Ubico is looking for reliable, enthusiastic people to join our Street Cleansing team, helping to keep Gloucester clean, safe, and welcoming.
This is a hands-on, outdoors role that suits people who enjoy physical work, variety, and being part of a supportive team.

Please note this position is offered on a 12-month fixed term contract

What the role involves:

• Street cleaning duties across the Gloucester boundary


• Driving a range of vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes (full UK driving licence required)


• Working either independently or as part of a crew, depending on the task


• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks (oil, water, tyres, lights, beacons, etc.)


• Working outdoors in all weather conditions – no two days are the same
  

We offer four fixed shift options, all Monday to Friday, with no shifts finishing later than 6pm:

• 6:00am – 2:00pm


• 7:00am – 3:00pm


• 8:00am – 4:00pm


• 10:00am – 6:00pm
  

There is also the opportunity for paid weekend overtime for those who want it.

What we’re looking for:

• A full UK driving licence


• Comfortable working outdoors year-round


• Happy to work both alone and as part of a team
