Job summary

England Rugby is seeking a Strategy & Insights Officer to join the Strategy and Operations team at Allianz Stadium, with flexible home working and a permanent contract. The role oversees governance, data analysis and insights, supporting project delivery and reporting across the organisation.

It reports to the Senior Strategy & Planning Manager with dotted line to the Senior Strategic Insights Manager. The role focuses on developing actionable insights, managing the PMO, and delivering business

Qualifications

• Experience in governance and developing governance models (including responsibility assignment)
• Experience conducting research projects and presenting insights from complex data sets
• Experience managing and analysing complex data sets
• Project planning experience and ability to manage within scope, timelines, budget and quality
• Experience using BI tooling (preferably Tableau) desirable
• Experience collaborating with senior staff
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Smartsheet
• Rounded business knowledge and RFU familiarity desirable

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery of strategy and insights projects through the RFU’s project lifecycle
• Support the Insights Team with research projects, data analysis and the translation of data into dashboards and presentations
• Support internal and external working groups with planning and delivery of their accountabilities
• Programme management support to transformation programmes with executive reporting on risks, issues and dependencies
• Manage the RFU’s Project Management Office through Smartsheet
• Edit and update the RFU Delivery Plan
• Develop and execute stakeholder management processes
• Support and manage senior stakeholders to deliver project and organisational objectives
• Communicate with project team and senior leaders
• Analyse information, draw conclusions and present clearly
• Act as an ambassador for RFU core values
• Undertake other duties as required
