Job summary

The Rugby Football Union (RFU) is seeking a Strategy & Insights Officer to join the Strategy and Operations team. Based at Allianz Stadium with some home-working flexibility, the role reports to the Senior Strategy & Planning Manager and contributes to Plan 2030: More than a game.

You will drive strategic projects, translate data into actionable insights, manage the PMO and support governance and planning across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Degree level desirable.
• Understanding of governance and governance models including responsibility assignment.
• Experience conducting research projects and presenting insights from data.
• Experience managing and analysing complex data sets.
• Project planning experience with scope, timelines, budget and quality.
• Experience using BI tooling (Tableau) desirable.
• Experience collaborating with senior staff.
• Advanced MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and proficiency with Smartsheet.
• Desirable knowledge of RFU and overall business context.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery of strategy and insights projects through the project lifecycle.
• Support Insights Team with research, data analysis and translation to dashboards.
• Support planning and delivery for internal and external working groups.
• Provide programme management support for transformation programs and report risks.
• Manage the RFU Project Management Office using Smartsheet.
• Edit and reflect updates to the Delivery Plan.
• Develop and execute stakeholder management processes.
• Manage senior stakeholders to deliver objectives and communicate updates.
