Job summary

Guardian News and Media Limited is seeking a Head of Strategy to shape and deliver the business plan. You will lead priority strategy projects across the organisation, partner with senior leaders and connect initiatives to the Guardian's long-term vision.

This hybrid role is based in London with three days in the Kings Cross offices and two days remote. You will monitor market trends, advise on corporate strategy and drive decision making with a strong focus on impact and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Extensive strategy experience, either from consulting or an in-house strategy role in a media organisation.
• Experience partnering with diverse business functions across strategic problems.
• Deep understanding of media or publishing; strong quantitative and qualitative problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic projects end-to-end with senior leaders; scope and deliver broad projects.
• Advise business leaders on evolving corporate strategy and its execution.
• Monitor competitive landscape and trends; provide analysis to maintain advantage.
• Ensure corporate strategy informs key business decisions through analytics.
• Exposure to senior leadership; shape the organisation's strategic direction.
