Job summary

The Guardian is seeking a Head of Strategy to formulate and support Guardian News and Media business strategy. The Head of Strategic Projects will lead priority strategy projects across the organisation, linking them to the Guardian's vision.

We operate in a hybrid environment, with 3 days in our Kings Cross offices and 2 days remote, offering a collaborative culture and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Extensive strategy experience in a media organisation or consultancy.
• Proven ability to partner with diverse business functions on strategic problems.
• Strong understanding of media or publishing landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic projects end-to-end with senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Advise on corporate strategy and shape the GNM strategic plan.
• Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to maintain a competitive edge.
• Ensure strategy informs key business decisions across the Guardian.
• Exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional programmes.
