Cadent is seeking a Strategy and Policy Analyst to shape the strategy and economics driving the transition to a low‑carbon energy future in the UK. You’ll provide robust economic, regulatory and market analysis to support future energy strategies and position Cadent as a thought leader.
This permanent, hybrid role requires engagement with government and regulators, modelling, scenario development, and clear communication of insights.
As our Strategy and Policy Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping how Cadent responds to the future energy landscape. This isn’t just about analysis — it’s about influencing strategy, informing decision‑making and helping position Cadent as a thought leader in the transition to Net Zero.
This is a permanent role, where you’ll provide robust economic, regulatory and market analysis to support the development of future energy strategies. You’ll work across the business and with external stakeholders to develop insights, scenarios and frameworks that support the evolution of gas networks, including hydrogen, biomethane and hybrid energy systems.
You’ll support high‑profile work influencing policy, regulatory frameworks and industry thinking, helping Cadent navigate complex challenges and opportunities in a rapidly changing environment.

Travel to our Ansty Park office is required, but notice will be provided to enable you to make necessary travel plans. Speak to us during the application process to discuss in more detail.
