Cadent is seeking a Design Analyst at Ansty Park to deliver compliant network designs and analyses for major programmes. You will develop designs, assess risks, and produce cost estimates while engaging with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and safe, compliant delivery.

As a Design Analyst, you’ll be part of a dynamic team delivering key design and planning activities across the HSE Mains Replacement Programme (MRP), Governor Replacement Programme, and Associated Network Analysis. Your work will play a vital role in ensuring designs are safe, compliant and commercially sound, while helping to shape the future performance and sustainability of the network.
Working at the heart of operational delivery, you’ll contribute to innovative solutions that support environmental targets, reduce network shrinkage and improve customer outcomes.
This is a varied and impactful role combining technical design, analysis and stakeholder engagement.
Develop and produce compliant network designs using ESRI-based tools across a range of workstreams including MRP, Diversions, Non-Standard Connections and Reinforcement projects.
Influence future network design, supporting environmental performance, customer service outcomes and the ongoing development of network analysis models.
Complete detailed Design Risk Assessments, ensuring all hazards are identified and mitigated in line with safety, regulatory and company standards.
Produce accurate cost estimates and apply cost-benefit thinking to support effective and efficient project delivery.
Work closely with internal teams and external partners, providing technical support, resolving queries and ensuring alignment across projects.
Manage design amendments, maintain accurate records within the Design Hub and ensure all reporting meets service level agreements and performance indicators.
You’re a detail-oriented and proactive design professional with a strong understanding of network analysis and a commitment to high-quality delivery.
