Position Overview
WTW’s ICT division seeks a proactive management/strategy Consultant to join the newly formed Global Specialty team. This key role involves defining new propositions within our established business, requiring an entrepreneurial mindset and innovative drive. You will work on diverse projects including M&A, Post-Merger Integration, market strategy, transformation, technology integration, underwriting strategy, and new venture setups, leveraging our broad expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Support & Delivery: Execute high-impact projects such as market assessments, target operating models, PMI, due diligence, capability benchmarking, distribution, and underwriting strategy, ensuring high-quality deliverables for Specialty P&C clients.
- Proposition Development: Help shape and refine ICT’s new market propositions, integrating insights from technical and strategic capabilities to meet evolving client needs.
- Thought Leadership: Collaborate across teams, support cross-functional initiatives, and conduct market research and data analysis to provide industry insights.
- Financial Contributions: Support business development, contribute to proposals, and engage with clients to meet billable targets.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Team Cohesion: Interact with senior stakeholders and foster team collaboration, balancing office and remote work with a minimum of 3 days in the office per week.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience in strategy consulting, preferably within financial services or insurance, from management consultancies, Big 4, PE deal teams, or corporate strategy teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and comfort with ambiguity.
- Genuine interest in insurance and business management, with strong technical and business acumen.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities.
- Adaptability, rigor, and structured approach to project execution.
Educational & Professional Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
- Experience as a senior associate or similar role, with involvement in strategy or management consulting projects related to market strategy, M&A, PMI, transformation, or underwriting strategy.
- Experience within insurance/FS consultancies, Big 4, or internal corporate strategy teams is advantageous.
