CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Workplace Operations Lead to manage and optimize daily facility operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and employee engagement. The role blends strategic oversight with hands-on coordination of services, space planning, and vendor management to support business continuity.

The candidate will supervise staff, manage budgets, lead contract negotiations, and drive improvements in service delivery while upholding CBRE RISE values and high standards of safety.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience managing workplace or facility operations.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Provide formal supervision for employees, monitor training and development, conduct evaluations and coaching.
  • Coordinate daily activities, establish schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff and track deadlines.
  • Assist with strategic operations, including revenue growth and business development.
  • Apply broad knowledge of business drivers affecting performance.
  • Lead by example, negotiate with external partners and vendors to reach goals.
  • Oversee maintenance, repairs, and renovations of office facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for facility upkeep.
  • Streamline processes to improve service delivery and reduce costs.
  • Monitor KPIs related to workplace operations and budget accountability.
  • Lead contract negotiations with service providers and ensure quality delivery.
  • Prepare and manage operational budgets and client reporting.
  • Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and safety drills.
