Job summary

South Yorkshire Police is seeking a Head of Strategic Workforce Planning and Systems to lead the HR & Learning function at Force HQ, Carbrook, Sheffield. This senior role shapes the force's People Strategy and delivers workforce planning across districts and departments.

You will drive cultural change, provide strategic advice to the leadership team, and oversee analytics, reporting, and system integration to support evidence-based decision making.

Qualifications

• Qualified to CIPD Level 7 or equivalent and chartered CIPD member.
• Significant experience in strategic workforce planning, including modelling, forecasting and scenario planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Strategic Workforce Planning and Systems function across SYP.
• Provide senior advice to Senior Leadership and external bodies including SYMCA.
• Develop and embed Oracle and other HR systems for workforce planning and reporting.
