Job summary

Marqeta is seeking a Vendor Management Senior Analyst to help build and support a vendor management and strategic sourcing program that maximizes value from our vendor relationships and manages third-party risk. You will collaborate across teams to support centralized sourcing and procurement efforts, including process creation, RFPs, and contract negotiation.

This role can be performed remotely within the UK or from our London, Holborn office.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in strategic sourcing and vendor management in Payments/FinTech.
• Proven track record in contract negotiations and risk management.
• Understanding regulatory requirements in payments/fintech/banking.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with high-volume work.
• Experience reviewing vendor-provided contracts and ensuring compliance.
• Able to operate without defined processes and templates.
• Influences decisions across multiple cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic sourcing vision, processes, and tools.
• Assist in contract negotiations and vendor administration including amendments.
• Monitor vendor performance metrics and suggest improvements.
• Identify savings opportunities and track realized savings.
• Assess vendor risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with legal, compliance, security, and finance teams.
• Maintain relationships to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Support vendor regulatory compliance and sustainability efforts.
