Job summary

ZEAL Network SE is seeking an experienced HR/People & Culture Generalist to own core HR operations across three UK locations, including payroll, HRIS, and employee relations. The role requires strong knowledge of UK payroll, employment law, and the ability to build scalable HR processes.

You will work onsite in Norwich with regular travel to London, Manchester and Hamburg, ensuring compliant and consistent HR practices aligned with group standards. Fluent English is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum several years’ experience as an HR/People & Culture Generalist in the UK market.
• Solid knowledge of UK payroll and UK employment law.
• Experience building HR structures and processes in growing or newly integrated organisations.
• Hands-on experience implementing or unifying HRIS systems.
• Strong skills in performance management, mediation and conflict resolution.
• Willingness to travel between London, Manchester and Hamburg and to be onsite.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Unify and administer HRIS across three UK locations.
• Independently run payroll for all three UK entities.
• Build and own administrative HR processes (contracts, onboarding, off-boarding, employee files, compliance) and policies from scratch, tailored to local needs and aligned with group standards.
• Roll out and advise managers and employees on performance management and HR topics.
• Mediate and provide supervision in interpersonal or employment-related conflict situations.
• Brief and coach managers on leadership topics and HR processes.
• Act as the main point of contact for all employee belonging topics and processes.
• Work hands-on day to day with regular presence across all sites and the Hamburg headquarters.
