Job summary

Arup’s Transport Consulting team invites experienced Transport Modellers to join a collaborative, creative environment at the heart of transport planning and modelling. You will contribute to a broad range of high‑profile schemes across highways, public transport and multimodal networks, working with senior modellers and project managers.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport modelling across highways, public transport and multimodal models.
• Proven experience with model development, calibration and validation using VISUM, SATURN, CUBE or MATSim.
• A good understanding of TAG requirements, forecasting and scenario testing.
• Strong skills in data analysis, reporting and technical note writing with high presentation standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously and in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Work on challenging and high-profile transport modelling projects from data analysis and model development to reporting and client engagement.
• Develop strategic transport models, forecast future conditions, test mitigation scenarios and undertake scheme assessment.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and geographies, with potential to support projects across the UK and internationally.
