Job summary

Würth UK is seeking a commercially minded Business Development Consultant to work with Field Sales Consultants and unlock growth in high-potential territories. You’ll identify opportunities, open doors, and shape how we expand in targeted areas.

You’ll build relationships with decision-makers, target new business, and create a strong pipeline while collaborating with sales teams. This role offers an uncapped commission structure and clear progression within a growing organisation.

Qualifications

• Proactive, self-motivated with a strong commercial mindset.
• Experience in business development, territory expansion, or new-market growth.
• Confident engaging new prospects and opening conversations at all levels.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to identify opportunity and convert interest into tangible results.
• Independent worker who collaborates with wider sales teams.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise opportunities.
• Competent with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-opportunity customers and growth areas.
• Research and target new business opportunities.
• Build early-stage relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
• Open new accounts and create a strong pipeline of future business.
• Work closely with Field Sales Consultants to develop the territory.
• Support territory planning and go-to-market strategies.
• Represent the business professionally when engaging new prospects.
• Provide excellent service, including after-sale follow-up.
