Job summary

Würth UK is seeking a commercially minded Business Development Consultant to work with Field Sales Consultants to unlock growth in high-potential territories. You’ll identify opportunities, open doors, and help shape how we expand presence in targeted areas.

You’ll build early relationships, target new opportunities, and create a strong sales pipeline while collaborating with wider sales teams. The role offers a basic salary with guaranteed earnings, uncapped commission, and extensive benefits,

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, territory expansion, or new-market growth.
• Confidence engaging new prospects at all levels.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to identify opportunity and convert interest into tangible results.
• Independent work with collaboration with wider sales teams.
• Excellent organisational skills and prioritisation.
• Proficient with CRM and reporting tools.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Identifying high-opportunity customer, and growth areas
• Researching and targeting new business opportunities
• Building early-stage relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
• Opening new accounts and creating a strong pipeline of future business
• Working closely with Field Sales Consultants to develop the territory.
• Supporting territory planning and helping define go-to-market strategies
• Representing the business professionally and confidently when engaging new prospects
• Providing excellent service, including after-sale follow-up, to ensure customer satisfaction.
