Job summary

March is seeking a commercially driven Technical Sales Director to lead our sales organisation for compressed air solutions. You will blend leadership, technical know-how and strategic selling to win new business, expand service contracts and ensure delivery of high-value projects across UK markets.

You will manage a diverse team of six field sales reps and ten internal staff, build strong customer relationships, shape pricing and framework agreements, and collaborate with Operations and Finance

Qualifications

• Senior technical sales or sales leadership in industrial engineering.
• Strong compressed air sector experience is essential.
• Proven track record leading field and internal sales teams.
• Excellent understanding of compressed air systems, maintenance, and service contracts.
• Experience with solution selling on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a sales strategy aligned with growth objectives.
• Lead external and internal sales teams to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Manage pricing, margins, forecasting, and contract negotiations.
• Own CRM management, reporting, and data integrity.
• Build and maintain key customer relationships and drive framework agreements.
