Pure Resourcing Solutions is partnering with an international business to recruit a Senior Supply & Procurement Manager in Ipswich. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on leadership, overseeing supply planning, procurement, inventory strategy, and supplier management.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will drive efficiency, resilience, and continuous improvement across the function, shaping long-term strategies that support growth, service performance and customer

Qualifications

• Senior leadership in supply chain or sourcing roles.
• Proven team leadership and people development.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
• Experience implementing strategic supply chain initiatives.
• Advanced ERP systems knowledge.
• Analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative leadership with high EQ.
• Knowledge of inventory planning and demand forecasting.
• Understanding of international supply networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a supply and procurement strategy aligned to business objectives.
• Lead the S&OP process to balance demand and supply.
• Drive forecasting accuracy and visibility across the supply network.
• Negotiate with suppliers and manage relationships.
• Oversee inventory planning and stock performance across multiple locations.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead projects on cost reduction, waste elimination and performance.
• Coach and develop the supply and procurement team.
• Ensure compliance with import/export requirements.
