TLP in Ipswich is seeking a Senior Supply and Procurement Manager to lead the end-to-end supply chain for a growing international construction business. The role is hybrid (2 days remote / 3 days in the office) with a GBP65-70K salary plus performance bonus.
You will own procurement, supplier management, S&OP, demand planning, inventory and logistics, ensuring product availability, service levels and cost efficiency while balancing working capital.

We re looking for an experienced Senior Supply & Procurement Manager to lead the end-to-end Supply Chain function for a well-established and growing international construction business.
This is a brand new senior leadership role with responsibility for bringing together procurement, suppliers, inventory, S&OP, demand planning, production, logistics and distribution to deliver reliable supply, excellent service and improved efficiency.

You ll take full ownership of the Supply Chain function, leading:
In short, you ll ensure the right products are available, in the right place, at the right time while balancing service, cost, inventory and operational efficiency.
Develop and execute the overall Supply Chain strategy
Lead a robust S&OP process, connecting Sales, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics and Product teams
Drive improved forecast accuracy, inventory optimisation and service levels
Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with the parent company and global supplier network
Negotiate and manage supplier SLAs, performance and commercial agreements
Identify and proactively manage supply chain risks, delays and potential disruptions
Analyse data and KPIs to identify root causes, bottlenecks, waste and opportunities for improvement
Lead initiatives that reduce cost, improve productivity and increase operational efficiency
Develop and improve Supply Chain systems, processes and reporting
Ensure appropriate import and export compliance across the UK operation
Work closely with the Head of Logistics and wider business to create a fully integrated Supply Chain approach
You ll lead and develop a Supply Chain team of 13, creating a high-performing, collaborative and engaging environment.
You ll be responsible for:

Setting objectives and conducting performance reviews
Maintaining appropriate training and competency levels
Supporting the team through periods of high demand and operational pressure
