Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in Ipswich to take full ownership of an end-to-end function within a growing manufacturing business. You will shape strategy, improve processes, and lead a high-performing team to deliver commercial impact.

The role requires senior-level experience, strong negotiation and communication, and a hands-on approach to forecasting, inventory, S&OP, supplier management and KPI delivery across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in supply chain leadership.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and organisational abilities.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience managing multi-site inventory, supplier relationships and S&OP.
• Solid knowledge of ERP systems and import/export regulations.
• Lean / Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience.
• Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Operations or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own a long-term supply chain strategy aligned with commercial goals.
• Lead stakeholder and supplier management to ensure service levels.
• Oversee inventory, demand forecasting, and S&OP across multiple sites.
• Ensure logistics, import/export compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement and KPI reporting across the function.
• Lead and develop the supply chain team.
• Collaborate across the business to integrate supply chain planning.
