Job summary

TLP in Ipswich is seeking a Senior Supply and Procurement Manager to lead the end-to-end supply chain for a growing international construction business. The role is hybrid (2 days remote / 3 days in the office) with a GBP65-70K salary plus performance bonus.

You will own procurement, supplier management, S&OP, demand planning, inventory and logistics, ensuring product availability, service levels and cost efficiency while balancing working capital.

Qualifications

• Proven senior-level experience across Supply Chain, Procurement or related functions.
• Strong experience in S&OP, demand planning, forecasting and inventory management.
• Demonstrable experience managing suppliers and commercial relationships.
• Proven people-management and leadership experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience using ERP systems, data and KPIs to drive performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Proactive approach to risk management and supply-chain resilience.
• Calm, decisive and solutions-focused when plans change.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall Supply Chain strategy.
• Lead S&OP process connecting Sales, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics and Product teams.
• Drive improved forecast accuracy, inventory optimisation and service levels.
• Build and maintain relationships with the parent company and global supplier network.
• Negotiate and manage supplier SLAs and commercial agreements.
• Identify and proactively manage supply chain risks and disruptions.
• Analyse data and KPIs to identify bottlenecks and opportunities.
• Lead initiatives to reduce cost, improve productivity and increase operational efficiency.
• Ensure import/export compliance across the UK operation.
• Collaborate with Head of Logistics for integrated Supply Chain approach.
