Job summary

Signature Career Management Ltd. is assisting a consumer goods business in South Yorkshire to appoint a Supply Planning Manager.

You will translate forecasts and customer orders into practical supply plans, coordinating with third-party manufacturers to ensure product availability. The role also involves managing stock levels, coordinating finished goods, packaging and component requirements, and developing planning processes.

Qualifications

• At least three years' experience in supply chain or planning.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
• Experience with third-party manufacturers and supplier relations.

Responsibilities

• Translate forecasts and orders into supply and purchasing plans.
• Coordinate production with third-party manufacturers to manage lead times.
• Manage stock levels and balance availability with excess inventory.
• Coordinate finished goods, packaging and components requirements.
• Identify supply risks and resolve supplier/internal issues.
• Develop planning processes, reporting and SOPs.
• Support new product launches and align supply requirements cross-functionally.
