Job summary

Vishay Precision Group, Inc. (VPG) is seeking a supply planning professional to ensure product availability aligned with demand plans.

You will generate and adjust supply plans using forecasts, production schedules, and supplier commitments, collaborating with demand planning, sales, and production to optimize stock and cut shortages. The role requires 3–5 years in planning, ERP and advanced Excel proficiency, and a strong grasp of supply chain processes and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-5 years’ experience in planning fields, Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of planning, supply chain processes and inventory management.
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• To ensure timely availability of products according to demand plans.
• Generate and update supply plans based on latest forecasts, production schedules, and supplier commitments.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams such as demand planning, sales, production to optimize stock, reduce excess, and minimize shortages.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm delivery dates, lead times, and order status. To follow up on any delays or issues.
• Support cost efficiency initiatives by identifying opportunities for optimized sourcing and inventory management.
