Job summary

Vectis Recruitment is assisting a leading manufacturer in recruiting a Senior Production Planner. You will develop production schedules based on customer demand, inventory and capacity, and issue work orders on the ERP system.

You will liaise with Sales and update customers on delivery statuses, monitoring progress to prevent bottlenecks and meet deadlines. The role requires ERP/MRP experience, advanced Excel skills, and strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience in a production planning role within a complex manufacturing environment.
• ERP/MRP experience.
• Methodical, detail orientated with good time management.
• Advanced Excel skills with a good understanding of MS office functions.
• Strong organisational skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience of managing a demanding workload in accordance with tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Develop production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels & capacity.
• Production planning of parts, including issues work orders on the ERP system.
• Review customer requirements and schedules for manufactured parts.
• Liaise with Sales teams and provide customers with delivery updates
• Monitor production progress and address potential delays or bottlenecks.
• Attend and contribute to production meetings and advise supervisors of any priority parts or changes in requirements
• Maintain and update ERP System for planning functions.
• Update work order issues changes for BOMs and issue any changes to drawings to the correct department
