Job summary

Amazon UK is seeking a talented Strategic Supply and Demand Planner to drive selection and in-stock for Fresh programs. This role emphasizes analytics, process improvement, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Based in Manchester or London on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, you will optimize inventory strategies to improve customer experience, sales, margin and turns while partnering with retail and operations teams across Amazon UK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, analytics or related field.
• Experience in data-driven business operations processes.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, macros, VBA)
• Experience managing multiple projects across teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent in-stock rates for owned category and/or region.
• Execute inventory strategies to optimize sales, turns, and inventory health.
• Monitor, analyze and own KPIs such as in-stock rate, PLT, fill rate, forecast accuracy and turns.
• Forecast and manage inbound/outbound inventory flows and health, including forecasting and purchasing.
• Drive root cause analysis and project manage improvements with multiple priorities.
• Work with internal teams to drive tools and process improvements, automating tasks where possible.
