Job summary

Amazon Shipping is seeking an Inventory Planner to optimize transportation networks across the EU. You will lead capacity integration programs, forecast demand, and drive end-to-end planning for major events like Prime Day.

The role requires strong data analysis skills, Excel and SQL expertise, and the ability to deliver actionable insights with large data sets. You will collaborate with in-country teams and shippers to expand the network, standardize tools, and implement scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with capacity planning and demand forecasting.
• Strong data analysis skills with ability to translate data into actionable steps.
• Experience with Excel and SQL for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build strategic plans to fulfill customer demand at the cheapest and in a cost efficient way.
• Lead capacity integration programs coordinating with stakeholders and setting up all aspects of the S&OP function from demand and capacity forecasting, execution, software designing and driving process improvements.
• Drive forecast accuracy for first mile logistics working with local in-country business and operational teams.
• Provide actionable insights into current forecasting issues and improvements avenues.
• Lead end-to-end planning for key events like Prime Day or other initiatives and peak.
• Support the expansion of the network and new locations from analyzing where we expand to how fast.
• Drive standardization of tools and processes to build scalable execution plans with operations team.
