Job summary

Brenntag UK & Ireland is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the end-to-end supply chain, procurement and stock control across Scotland. You will work with operations, sales and product management to optimise stock availability and supplier performance.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage stock procedures and contribute to EBITDA targets while minimising working capital exposure.

Qualifications

Experience managing supply chain, procurement or stock control in a target-driven environment.
Proven leadership with responsibility for team management and development.
Strong commercial acumen in a profit-driven business; excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end supply chain, procurement and stock control across Scotland.
Coordinate stock purchases and supplier contracts to maximise profitability.
Manage import purchasing and support stock availability across the UK network.
Develop and maintain efficient purchasing processes and supplier relationships.
Monitor stock levels and KPIs to optimise working capital and service levels.
Provide commercial insight and recommendations to drive growth and performance.
Lead and coach Stock Control teams in Glasgow and Perth.
Collaborate with Sales, Product Management and Operations to minimise inventory risk.
