Job summary

Cheltpro is seeking a Supply Chain Planner in Cheltenham to help maintain stock availability and control costs while delivering excellent customer service in the foodservice sector.

You will forecast demand, manage end-to-end planning, collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, and optimise inventory to minimise costs. Strong Excel and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and end-to-end supply planning across a designated product range.
• Ensure stock availability at the right place and time while maximising product date life.
• Analyse historical data and market trends to forecast future demand.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimising stock holding costs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Negotiate supply chain agreements and monitor supplier performance and service levels.
• Identify obsolete stock and work with Sales/Commercial teams on solutions.
• Collaborate with Account Managers on product forecasting for key customers.
• Oversee transportation and depot stock movements to maximise availability and sales.
• Identify and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
