Job summary

Trelleborg is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and develop our Leicester-based supply chain operations, coordinating materials, production planning and logistics to meet customer needs and business goals.

You will work with manufacturing, sales and procurement to improve processes, strengthen supplier relationships and drive cost efficiency in a dynamic, international manufacturing environment. This role demands leadership, collaboration and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in supply chain management, logistics, procurement or a related field, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chain processes, including planning, inventory, procurement and logistics.
• Experience leading teams and working across different functions to achieve shared objectives.
• Good understanding of demand planning, inventory management and production planning.
• Experience in supplier negotiations, contract management and supply chain performance improvement.
• Confidence using ERP systems, data analysis and performance reporting tools.
• Leadership and team development with clear communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead demand planning, inventory planning and production planning, establishing clear processes.
• Forecast demand with sales and manufacturing teams and align production capacity.
• Manage inventory to meet customer demand and reduce excess stock.
• Oversee order fulfilment and logistics for cost-effective deliveries.
• Procure direct and indirect materials balancing cost, quality and delivery.
• Develop supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and monitor performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across countries to improve supply chain.
